Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customized using an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your home and create cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and how much water your mop consumes.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate through rooms while an obstacle avoidance function prevents it from running into furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These features are crucial for my home filled with toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum vacuum, which is why it's a natural choice to be with a host of features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even raise its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants, and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vac we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it getting stuck on a surface.

Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also features an automatic vacuum and mop mop lifting system, that will raise the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with its only downsides being the fact that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features makes it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model when you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The premium price is justified by its robust features, including a large vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair with no knots. The mops were also excellent and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, then refills its water tank to enable mopping and dries its mop pads for you. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. Additionally it's not as adept at removing stubborn stains as those found in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance and care. The base station must be cleaned and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately will need to be changed periodically.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone with the budget for it. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could find, its high cost and frequent maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you need to clean up messes and get rid of dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also has a large battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even comes with an automatic hoover mop that cleans itself as it moves, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller covers the full width of the bot, and it is constantly supplied with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked in by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The onboard tank can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. It must be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning products.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a couple times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my testing however this can be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it still has some amazing features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot vacuum cleaner best's dirtbag, filling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before returning to its dock and the vacuum's high suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair on carpets.

The app that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can pick specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is solid, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a systematic way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing is excellent at covering a space, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect the dangers of carpets that are thick however it won't always recognize smaller things like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The one glaring flaw of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot cleaner. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of each session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last traces of dust and debris left behind by the vacuuming. This is a great feature that can help this robot clean a little better than its cheaper competitors.
