The Eufy S1 Pro

This is the model you need to pick if you are looking for an automatic vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It is smaller than other options, making it easier to maneuver in tight corners or under furniture. It has a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, gives it one of my top navigation and object avoidance capabilities I've seen in robot vacuums. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to its dock to replenish its battery during the cleaning.

It's efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms incredibly quickly and the hardwood floors in the hallways, and living room in one go. Its 8,000pa suction motor automatic vacuum cleaner will quickly pick up dirt, crumbs, and pet hair. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it encounters rugs and the dual side brushes help draw away debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, is not as good. The rotating mop spins fast and makes use of 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can be employed to clean up larger debris, like broken toys or books.

Another great feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It is quieter and doesn't create as much noise when vacuuming or mopping. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform its mopping function and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is easy to install and performs well. However when you purchase this vacuum solely for mopping it is important to be aware of this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a range of features.

The device is equipped with a powerful cleaning system that integrates LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. The Matrix Plus robot vacuum is a 2-in-1 mop and vacuum. It can do both mopping and vacuuming. The Matrix Plus also did a surprising job of picking up hair from pets. It was able to collect a lot of the hair that shed by our cats, and even got into the corners and crevices of our stairs where other robots have struggled. Its noise levels were fairly low, and there were some nice jingles to signal that it was starting and working towards its goal.

Its biggest drawbacks were its lack of sophistication and the need to change out the modules when switching between vacuuming and mopping. The app can't contain multiple maps, which could be a problem if you have a home with multiple floors. The Matrix Plus is a good option for those who want a smart robot that can do both vacuuming and mopping.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive in our review. However, it does have certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning robot mop and vacuum sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses a 2.5-liter dust bin as well as a 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base comes with a few control buttons that allow you to manually start a cleaning task and then recall the robot vacuum cleaners reviews or use the dock's auto-emptying procedure. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. This is a great feature for parents worried about their children messing around with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic hoovers vacuums, the X1 Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and eliminate them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than standard laser detection systems and is four times more precise in finding objects.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally become so entangled with an obstacle--such as an electrical cord dangling across a rug, that it gets stuck and ceases to function until you remove it manually. While it was not common, it was a frustrating experience when it did happen and especially because the X1 Omni does not come with an "stuck" status alert in its application.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during a cleaning session. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but the mopping pad doesn't get cleaned or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the positive side it's worth noting that the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot, thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who dreamed up its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad apparatus. It's a significant contrast to the basic black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an excellent choice for a market dominated by clunky boxy units.
